Our decorative rope brackets for railings are a classy way to install a rope fence or handrail banister. They are made to be used indoors or outdoors and are constructed from solid brass. Each bracket comes with the necessary hardware for installation.

These brackets are designed for use with 3 strand twisted, synthetic ropes such as Promanila (Unmanila), Twisted Polyester, or Black Polyester Combo Ropes because the openings are exactly sized. Most natural fiber ropes like Manila, Sisal and Cotton are oversized and won’t fit in the properly sized bracket. Additionally, 8 Strand Promanila or 8 Strand Polyester ropes are not recommended as they are too large to easily insert into the bracket hole.

Choose the diameter of the bracket to match the diameter of 3 strand twisted rope. See bracket diagrams for bracket dimensions.

NOTE: The interior screw will hold the rope for normal handrail / bannister grip and use for it's intended purpose as a beautiful handrail. May not withstand use in high-traffic areas or public venues where people may use the rope handrail for climbing, swinging, or other adventurous purposes -- as the breaking strength of the rope is higher than that of the interior screw and excessive or frequent pulling on or shock-loading the rope may damage your hardware.
