Our Unmanila rope is a beautiful alternative to the natural plant fiber.
Love, love my rope we put on our walkway at our beach house. It is perfect. And needed instruction on cutting 2 inch rope and customer service was very helpful. Will order again. – Anita Carver

If you love the look of natural Manila rope but you don’t like some of the disadvantages, Unmanila rope is for you. Some of the advantages of Unmanila compared to natural Manila are that it feels smoother and does not mildew, rot, shed, fade, shrink or harden. Our premium Unmanila rope has excellent resistance to most chemicals, marine growth and petroleum products. It lasts up to three times longer than Manila and maintains its coloring. The tensile strength of Unmanila is nearly 50% stronger than natural Manila rope even though it is lighter and floats on water.
This premium grade, UV resistant rope is also known as synthetic Manila rope, Un Manila rope, Pro Manila rope, Poly Manila rope, Tan Pro, Poly Tan, and Un-Manila.
Although unmanila rope is better in almost every way, and serves as a replacement for the same applications, there is just something special about natural fiber Manila rope, and if you prefer it, we have all sizes and lengths in stock.

You can order Promanila rope by the foot in any length you want. Consider three ways you can place your order to save money or the need for freight carrier shipping.
Incremental Pricing
There are price breaks you can take advantage of by buying in the increments outlined above. For example, buying a 100’ piece is a much better price per foot than buying 98’ by the foot. Consider rounding up to the next incremental pricing bracket to save yourself some money.
Combining Incremental Pricing and ‘By the Foot’
You can also save money by buying an even increment plus a few feet by the foot.
Example 1: If you need 117’ in one continuous piece you can add two items to your cart, a 100’ increment and quantity ‘17’ by the foot. We can send you the 117’ piece in one continuous length. Just leave us a note during checkout about how you want your rope cut.
Example 2: If you need two pieces 60’ each, the best way to buy it would be to add two items to your cart, a 100’ increment and quantity ‘20’ by the foot. Just leave a note letting us know you want two 60’ pieces.
If you need one continuous piece that weighs over 150 pounds, it will have to ship via freight carrier. If you are ordering 1.25″ x 600′, 1.5″ x 375′ or more, or 2″ x 210′ or more in one continuous length, it must ship freight to a business address with a forklift. If you don’t have a business address or the equipment to unload a freight shipment, you can avoid shipping by freight carrier if your rope can be cut into smaller pieces. For example, if you need 300’ of 2” Unmanila rope and you don’t have a business address with a forklift, you can have us cut your rope into two, 150’ pieces. This will allow for regular ground shipping and make it easier to handle and install. Please contact us with your address for a freight quote if needed.
