Installation Instructions
Using a secondary fall protection method, such as aZOOK™ Lineman’s safety rope, attach the ZOOK™ Line above your head while standing in your treestand.
Wrap the looped end of the main rope around the tree one time and make a choker hitch by feeding the other end of the rope through the loop and down to the ground.
Position and tighten the choker hitch so the rope that is wrapped around the tree is close to horizontal and let the rest of the rope hang next to your ladder. In the event of a fall you need to be able to reach the ladder to regain your footing.
At the base of the tree, tie the rope off to the bottom of your ladder (or other attachment point) so the line is tight from top to bottom. Properly tie the prusik knot(s) with the included prusik cord(s). See ZOOK™ video, ‘How to Tie a Prusik‘.
