Description
Our premium, high-tenacity, double braid cable pulling ropes are manufactured in the USA and are made to be used on high strength cable pullers and winches. Our pull ropes can be used with your puller or tugger made by Porta-pull, Greenlee, Gardner Bender, Southwire, Ensley, itoolco, etc. These pulling ropes are also designed to be used for pulling transmission lines, stringing lines, and winch lines.
RightRope’s signature design is a white rope with navy blue, pacific blue and grey tracers woven into the rope. We manufacture these heavy duty ropes to exceed Greenlee pulling rope specifications and have the highest breaking strengths in the industry. We partner with energy distribution and underground utility contractors to provide these ropes for power lines and telecommunication cable installations. Our pulling ropes offer excellent abrasion resistance, UV resistance, and superior resistance to most chemicals. They are torque-free with very low stretch, have a low coefficient of friction, and are the highest strength available.
Important Safety Tip
We recommend a 4:1 safety factor to determine the rated capacity or working load limit of a cable pulling rope. If you have a high force cable puller that is rated for a maximum force of 4,000 pounds, then you would need a rope with a minimum 16,000 pound tensile strength. Please reference our specifications tab for the working load limits of each diameter rope.
Our ropes come shrink-wrapped on a heavy-duty, wooden, spool / reel that can be used over and over. Each end of your rope will come with a professionally spliced and stitched eye. Our double braid cable pulling ropes are available in any diameter and length, including custom lengths. Contact us for a quote on custom lengths if needed.
You can purchase some poly twine as part of your wire pulling kit. You can blow the wire pulling twine through your conduit and use it to pull your electrical cable pulling rope through. If you have a very heavy rope or very long pull, consider using one of our pull tapes to pull your rope through.
