Description

A step up from our handheld rope cutter is this H2 manual hot cutter by Sheffield. It has a 2 inch blade, ideal for cutting synthetic ropes. It can be mounted on a table with screws to hold it in place. It’s also weighted enough to be used, with caution, unmounted if you need to move it around your workspace. We have found mounting ours to a cart works well. We use this hot cutter to cut the majority of our synthetic ropes. 

This hot cutter has an on and off switch in the back and allows for continuous cutting, if needed, unlike the handheld cutter that needs to cool for four minutes for every one minute in use. This hot cutter should be turned off when not in use.

This hot cutter is made for cutting and sealing the ends of the largest synthetic ropes with a blade 2x longer than the H2 hot cutter by Sheffield. It is also over 5x heavier, weighing 30 lbs. 

This hot cutter has an on and off switch in the back and allows for continuous cutting, but should be turned off when not in use.
