Quality on a ConeI found RightRope.com over a year ago and downloaded the site to my Favorites thinking I’d eventually have need for their products. Well, here it is.
The quality of this kitchen twine is superb. Expensive? Somewhat, but then, I purchased the uber-monstrous, $39.99 cone. It will be used not only as kitchen twine, but also for warp string on a rug loom, welt cord in sewing, macramé projects, etc. Beyond the quality of this product, I love that it is 100% cotton, sourced and manufactured entirely in the U.S. It’s understandable that American-made products are frequently more expensive than imports, often putting these item outside of the financial comfort zone of many consumers. That said, forced labor and child labor are illegal in the U.S.; cheaply-made imports undercut the income of our families and neighbors, farmers and ranchers; the vast majority of U.S. manufacturers are small, independent, family-owned business like RightRope. I prefer to support American-owned and buy American-made.
