Details
AllGear’s dynamic 12-strand polyester tree climbing line is excellent for Moving Rope System/Doubled Rope Technique (MRS/DbRT) climbing. These 12 strand climbing lines are tough and originally built for the Canadian logging industry. Polyester over polyester rope has excellent tensile strength compared to a polyester over polypropylene and retains 100% strength when wet. These ropes keep their round shape under the most stressful circumstances and hold together when rigging without blocks or pulleys.
- Dynamic Climbing Rope
- Diameter: ½ inch
- Material: Polyester over Polyester
- Exterior: 12-Strand Braided Polyester
- Interior: Polyester
- Average Tensile Strength: 7,300 lbs
- Weight at 150′: 9.15 lbs
- Working Load Limit: 608 – 1460
Uses
Moving Rope System, also called Doubled Rope Technique, refers to a rope system that moves while a climber is also in motion. This approach is generally preferred by beginners because it is safer, and is common when climbing trees up to 100 feet.
