Description
Our premium 3 strand Equalizer Mooring Pendant is a new revolutionary product for while mooring or at anchor. It consists of two sections of rope that create a “Y” shape and slide through each other to ‘equalize’ the tension, and keep your boat in line with the buoy, adding longevity to both the pendant and your boat. The shorter ‘V’ leg has two eye splices that attach to the cleats on the front of your boat which makes up 40% of the total length of the pendant. That slides through the longer 60% leg that attaches to the mooring ball and has stainless steel thimble splices on both ends. This allows there to always be equal pressure on your boat cleats even when your boat sways in the water. There’s chafe guard to protect the rope where the thimble will slide and where the rope could touch the boat. Our mooring lines for boats are made using a balanced, 4 stage, firm lay construction, and are UV resistant and abrasion resistant. This means it’s very strong with high elasticity for rough waters and lasts long in all marine environments. We offer this in diameters of ½” – 1 ½” and a wide range of lengths in both black and white.
