Description
Chafe Guard is a continuous tube, also called a chafe sleeve, that slides over rope to add extra abrasion protection where it rubs. Use this page to add it to any part of a rope other than inside an eye splice: choose the diameter and length, add it to your cart, and tell us in the Comments at checkout what to do with it. We can send it as a separate piece, put it on the rope before shipping, let it slide along the rope, or stitch it in place. To protect the eye at a rope's end, pair it with a rope thimble.

What size should I choose?
Choose chafe guard one size larger than your rope's diameter. If it has to fit over the throat of an eye splice, choose two sizes larger.

How do I add chafe guard to a part of my rope?
