Our undyed, unbleached natural cotton is a charming, off-white, cream color and is ready to be dyed if you choose. Our cotton ropes are 100% cotton. Many industrial cotton ropes on the market are a blend of cotton and synthetic materials like polypropylene, acrylics, or polyester. Blended cotton ropes are stronger and less expensive and they certainly have their place in the market. However, we have found that our 100% pure, natural, cotton ropes are better suited for our customer’s needs. Our cotton ropes are also generally safe for pets and birds since they contain only natural cotton fiber. These ropes are intended for indoor use and can be washed if needed. Cotton is a natural plant fiber and shrinks when it gets wet.
